Wooden Inviflex is a flexible and strong packaging made of an inner layer of kraft paper with VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitor) anti-corrosion treatment, an inner layer of high density fibreboard and an outer layer of PP (polypropylene) woven fabric.
It is particularly suitable for packing and protecting heavy products and products that are sensitive to deformation. It offers mechanical protection similar to wooden boxes.
The PP woven fabric layer is waterproof and UV-resistant. The high-density fibre sheet offers protection against possible impacts and vibrations. And the VCI paper layer protects the material from moisture, dust and provides extra protection against corrosion.
The VCI used by Inviker is nitrite-free.
This chemical compound evaporates and travels to the most remote areas of the metal inside the packaging, creating a protective molecular layer that prevents contact with any corrosive substances such as moisture or oxygen.
Wooden Inviflex offers increased packaging efficiency. The material is easy to handle and use with a simple cut between the sheets and is reusable. In addition, the weight and volume is much lower when compared to wooden box packaging, thus reducing the cost of transportation.
