Desiccant bags for freight containers or Container Dry are intended to protect goods during long-term transportation against the harmful effects of moisture, such as rust, corrosion, mould, spoilage, etc., by aggressively absorbing moisture from the air.
It reduces the dew point temperature – the temperature at which condensation begins to form causing container rain, by effectively absorbing moisture and keeping the cargo dry and secure.
Container desiccant bags have the ability to protect shipments from start to finish, through all temperature and climate changes and variations in relative humidity (RH). It continues to reduce RH levels below 40%, which further lowers the dew point temperature.
Safe, non-toxic and easy to use. Its innovative design allows water vapour to easily enter the interior of the bag, where it transforms into a thick gel and does not leak or spill out. Due to its small size/grammage, it can be easily distributed evenly throughout the container.
Disposable with regular industrial waste.
For an optimum result, it is important to apply them correctly. The required quantity and absorption capacity of the dehydrating bags varies depending on factors such as transit or storage time, RH conditions and temperature changes to which the goods will be exposed.
