Reinforced plastic-coated crepe paper

B3

Plastic-coated crepe paper with mesh is a reinforced compound, made of a layer of corrugated paper, an inner layer of polyester mesh and an outer layer of PE (polyethylene).

This constitution confers a high resistance to tearing and breakage, and also makes the packaging watertight and impermeable. The application of crepe paper in this compound provides greater flexibility, elasticity and adaptability.

Due to these characteristics, it is widely used for the packaging of parts in the iron and steel industry and for export.

Description

Natural crepe paper is a material that is crumpled in an accordion-like manner to achieve greater elasticity and flexibility. In addition, it creates a cushioning effect, offering greater protection for the storage and transportation of the packaged material.

What is reinforced plastic-coated crepe paper designed for?

  • The intermediate layer of polyester fibres confers a high resistance to tearing and breakage, both in the packaging process and during storage, loading or transportation.
  • It guarantees the tightness and impermeability of the packaging.
  • Due to its high resistance to tearing and its high impermeability, it is used for the packaging of spare parts in the iron and steel industry and for export.

Available in smooth or crepe paper.

The reinforced plastic-coated crepe paper can be customised with a printed logo of the customer.

Can be supplied with VCI anti-corrosion treatment upon request.
