VCI PP woven fabric

A3

VCI raffia is a highly resistant PP (polypropylene) woven fabric. The VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitor) treatment ensures safety and corrosion protection during warehousing and transportation processes.

This material is widely used in industrial packaging, mainly in the steel, metallurgical, automotive, etc. industries.

It is ideal for packaging metal components and spare parts, as well as large objects with complex geometry, as it provides greater mechanical strength.

Description

The VCI used by Inviker is nitrite-free.

This chemical compound incorporated into PP woven fabric evaporates from the plastic and travels to the most remote areas of the metal inside the packaging, creating a protective molecular layer that prevents contact with any corrosive substances such as moisture or oxygen.

The raffia is a woven material made of PP yarns and laminated with a PE (polyethylene) plastic film to obtain a waterproof compound.

The VCI anti-corrosion treatment creates a protective film around the product to prevent oxidation during storage and transportation.

What is VCI PP woven fabric designed for?

  • To protect large components.
  • Due to the high resistance offered by this compound, it is used to pack materials with sharp points and edges.
  • It is used for packaging goods that remain exposed and require additional protection and strength.
  • Protects metals against corrosion.
  • Offers impermeability.

The VCI raffia can be customised with a printed logo of the customer.

It is available in different weights, widths and colours required by the customer.
