Clay desiccant bags

E1

Clay or activated bentonite, used as a filler in dehydrating sacks or desiccant bags, is a natural dehydrating agent widely used for the protection of industrial packaging.

Absorbent sacks are ideal for protecting packaged products from damage caused by moisture during transportation and storage.

Description

Clay or activated bentonite is a naturally derived porous material that is extracted from quarries and then crushed to break it into granules. It is an environmentally friendly material.

It is a cost-effective and efficient moisture absorber under normal conditions of temperature and relative humidity (RH). It can absorb up to twice its weight through progressive absorption.

Clay desiccant bags are one of the most widely used products for the transportation of goods. They are widely used in most industries, guaranteeing the proper condition of transported goods without deterioration due to the presence of moisture. They are placed beside the goods to absorb the humidity from the inside of the packaging.

For an optimum result, it is important to apply them correctly. The required quantity and absorption capacity of the dehydrating bags varies depending on factors such as transit or storage time, RH conditions and temperature changes to which the goods will be exposed.

What are clay desiccant bags designed for?

  • They prevent the circulation of moisture within a package by absorption and neutralisation.
  • Applications in a wide variety of sectors and industries such as export packaging, electronic components, pharmaceuticals, etc.
  • Used in packaging and enclosed spaces.
  • Economical and efficient
  • Environmentally friendly.

Available in different sizes and in form of spare bags, chains and panels.
